Workflow ยท Quality Incentive Program

Four separate DDS requirements. One 10% rate at stake.

Provider Directory. HCBS determination. Independent audit. EVV enrollment. Each lives in a different portal, inbox thread, or accountant's filing cabinet โ€” and providers usually find out something lapsed when a payment comes up short.

You're not imagining it โ€” every committee is talking about this

79 providers were still unregistered in the DDS Provider Directory weeks before the deadline โ€” with billing suspension on the table for missing it.

RCEB Provider/Vendor Advisory Committee minutes, June 2025

Providers must stay current on five separate tracked requirements at once just to keep the incentive rate.

Harbor Regional Center published a dedicated "QIP Provider Check List" โ€” because keeping track of the requirements is a job in itself.

The same four requirements, handled in Kura

Real screens from the app โ€” no mockups, no "coming soon"

1

All four QIP requirements. One screen.

Open the QIP Reporting tab and every prerequisite is right there with its status โ€” what's done, what's pending, and what's quietly expired. No portal-hopping, no "let me check with the accountant."

The one that's slipping โ€” with its deadline, not a surprise

Statuses are color-coded and honest: completed is green, pending is yellow, expired is red. The expired independent audit below isn't hiding in anyone's inbox.

Provider Directory: the deadline DDS ties your payments to

Registration proof is stored where the auditor will ask for it, and the completed date is on the record. When the next validation cycle comes around, you'll see it counting down โ€” not discover it in a suspended payment.

4

The independent audit: see it 90 days out, not 9 months overdue

Welfare & Institutions Code 4652.5 gives you nine months after fiscal year-end. Harbor RC reported 14 providers still outstanding on a past year's audits โ€” because nothing was reminding them. Here, the deadline lives next to the requirement.

5

EVV enrollment โ€” a quarter of your QIP eligibility, always visible

Regional centers run recurring EVV office hours because providers keep needing help just confirming where they stand. Your enrollment status shouldn't be a research project.
